Monsoon.....

Rain rain go away,
Come again another day...

.....Alternatively if you could just come at night when I'm asleep that would be great!

It's monsoon season, no, not the dress shop sale, BIG rain. The tent we erected is lonely.

At least our guests are dry in the barn.

  1. Would quite agree - go away rain but only during the day I need it at night for me veggies or is that just being selfish???? Also need one night no rain so I can mow the lawn the next day...

  5. Yep, we had quite a lashing here too last night, together with winds that torn down trees and branches which are now all over the roads. At least I don't need to worry about watering the plants for a week or so now!

  6. We've had our first proper rain since April here in Wiltshire. Spring and early summer has been so fabulous that if it rains until August I still won't be disappointed.

  7. Tattie: Perfect combination and nice veg and lawn = considerate rain..

James: Thanks, would love a really good camera one day but hey-ho!

Brenda: D'ya know what? They scarpered without paying the bill AND the mess they left was extraordinary....'parently they're soon off to Africa. Hippies! (I'd still have them back next year.)

Technodoll: Blimey, the rain up here on the hills is phenomenal - the farmers were pleased but now I think we need the sun back so the crops don't rot!

Victoria: I'm bailing out still.... courgette overboard!!!!

Previously VLiF: Spring WAS great, it's July that's a bit pants for us.... slightly more difficult to do stuff with the little kids when it's on and off heavy rain.
