A Deep Breath

They're at school. It's weirdly quiet here.... Don't get me wrong, I'm not compaining, just saying...

The 5yo was well prepared for school, he wore his uniform to bed! Hubby and I sat him up when we came to bed and peeled off his winter sweater.

It's a constant adventure venturing into boy's room. Last week he found an old Virgin Atlantic vanity bag, (from the days when we had holidays.) He was delighted to find the sleeping blindfold, handy really as one does find it jolly difficult to sleep, especially when one leaves all the flaming bedroom lights on!

  1. I enjoyed the peace today too. Even Ruby took a 2.5 hour nap. Love the kiddos, but love a bit of quiet time too.
My son thinks the inflight bag of goodies Huzz often brings back from trips are great too. Those horrible long socks that KLM include and of course the eyemask and toothbrush in the case. Such a load of rubbish to us but the chidren always love them.

  3. I like his style! I hope he insisted on wearing cashmere bed-socks as well.

  4. Hmm, I am missing my boys at the moment, the house is too quiet and I no longer have my focus. I need to find a job, but they are very hard to come by

  6. Victoria: Oh yes, the toothbrush has been v popular. Must ask hubby if I could jet off on a long-haul, Maldives or something, ALONE... (purely to bring back the playthings for the kiddos of course!!)
